Biography

Kent travels the world speaking in revivals, camps, conferences, and crusades. He pastored churches for 18 years in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Borger, Texas, and Berryville, Arkansas. Called to preach at the age of 17, he preached his first revival meeting at the age of 18. Kent has an ongoing perfect attendance record, now over 53 years, never missing one Sunday service in his life. Using a mixture of humor and poignant truth, the Word of God comes alive every service in his messages - to ignite and challenge the Church family! Kent and his wife Julie have five children: A. J. and his wife Brooke live in Yukon, OK where he directs the youth/music progam at Bethel Baptist Church. Ben and his wife Ashley, and their children, Rachel and Isaac, recently started a baptist church in Hilliard, Ohio where he is the lead pastor. Caleb and his wife Amanda, and their sons Jack and Joshua, are assisting with the church plant also, where he is the small groups pastor. Daniel, his youngest son, is the outreach pastor as well in Hilliard, Ohio. Elizabeth, 17 is a junior in high school in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
